SubQuery Network SQT

SubQuery is a decentralised network that empowers developers by providing critical infrastructure and tooling for web3 applications. At a high level, the SubQuery Network enables developers to build and scale decentralised apps (dApps) more easily by offering a comprehensive toolkit of solutions.

The DePIN infrastructure of the SubQuery Network supports three key pillars: fast data indexing, scalable RPC services, and innovative AI inference hosting. This suite of tools are being used by thousands of developers to power the next generation of decentralised apps.

The SubQuery Token (SQT) is designed as a utility token that powers the SubQuery Network, providing an incentive for participation, as well as serving as a medium of exchange for transactions within the SubQuery Network. Consumers of data commit SQT in exchange for RPC queries, indexed data or AI model hosting. SQT is distributed among Node Operators based on the payment method selected.

SubQuery Network launched its mainnet on February 23, 2024 with 10 billion SQT tokens created at genesis. From the beginning, SubQuery has been focused on building value within the community and this aim continues with the largest allocation of tokens being apportioned to the Community and SubQuery Foundation for various programmes and mainnet incentives.
